Fall is nigh at hand.

My goodness...have you looked at the calandar recently? I did just this morning. It's already nearly August! And, with most current school schedules, school starts in about 2-3 weeks! This is incredibly frightening...I think this every year, but more then ever this year. Where did Summer go?! I want it to last forever...well, not forever, but for a long, long, long, long, long...............long time.....maybe.

To believe that preseason Football starts in like 2 or so odd weeks....(though that be a good thing, it is also sorrowful, being the bringer of such morbid tidings as the death of summer).

Ah, well....I'll just have to enjoy what's left of summer and then throw myself full fledged into school...bleh.

You're insane, man. Simply insane. I can't wait for summer to end. No, I don't like school, and yes, it's always been the worst part of fall, but I don't have school this year. Not to gloat, but seriously, I don't have school this fall! :D Anyway, fall is the best time of the year! It's almost better than Christmas! And it's tons and tons better than summer. Bleh. Summer. It's so awful. I don't know how anyone can like it. How can you like summer?? The best part of summer is swimming and you don't know how to swim. So, why do you like summer?

Ah, but I start college courses this fall....which is good, and bad, and frightening all at the same time. And, as much as I like fall, I get usually tend to get this horrendously deep Melencholy that sets in about late October/early November and lasts until mid February, with only a short break through Christmas. It's rather annoying, and I'm not sure how to stop it, other then by traveling, which isn't really an option....

Varda said...

Well, I might be starting college too. It still isn't any reason to dread fall.
Hmmmmm. A deep meloncholy. . . . That's not good. That's what I'm like all summer. . . . sort of. lol I try to be happy though. It's really hard in ninety degree heat though. *sigh*

lol...this is so weird. I love it when it's warm...provided it's tolerable, but anything's mild after you've been to El Salvador's Coast....

Ah, you might be starting classes too? When do you have to register by?

Bleh. I hate summer. Oh, for the days when I can wear a hoodie and jeans! When I can walk oustide in a turtleneck but without a jacket! When there's a crisp wind and a small amount of humidity! *longing sigh*

Yeah. . . I've no idea. I should probably talk to my dad about that tomorrow.

Fenton McKnight said...

You like turtle-necks?!

I do like the weather you described though....it reminds me of beautiful things....and football.

Ah...yeah. I had to go wait in line for 2 hours last week just to register for the two classes I'm in...(there's quite a rush the first day open registration starts around here, and most of the classes fill up that very day...)

Varda said...

You don't???? WHY???

Yeah. :D Football. :D Beautiful things. :D Like a carpet of leaves spread over the lawn. :D Ahhhh! Fall! :D

Wow. You live in a city though. AND I'm pretty sure I can sign up for everything online, seeing as everything I'm taking is online. :D

Fenton McKnight said...

Ugh....they....are so uncomforatble. I'd even rather wear a sweater-vest then a turtle neck....

Ah, yes, the beauty of fall....*teary-eyes*...ah...it's so wonderous....wait! No! The Melencholy's already starting........NOOOOOOO!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

*Due to extranious circumstances, and the strict standards impose...ehe, I mean, suggested by his Doctors, Eruntalon will not be able to finish this post. Thank you.* *Beep*

Anyway...yeah, but be warned, it still might fill up, as anybody can join from anywhere....(even Ireland!)...and there are still only a limited number of slots open. Also, have you ever looked into North Western College in St Paul MN? It's a Chirstian College....I'm look seriously at it for the future...

Varda said...

lol Maybe it's different for guys. . .

Uh oh. =/ Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

Yeah. . . . I should look into it. I'm really not in any rush to go back to school though. I mean, if I "accidentally" miss a semester, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. lol

Fenton McKnight said...

Perhaps...

Yeah...those Doctor's continually watching me and taking notes is really starting to creep me out...lol

lol...true. You probably don't have the same feeling of "Time is running out to get things ready for the rest of my life" that I've been having of late....I just get this feeling that I'm behind schedule...or will be...it's weird.

Varda said...

lol Those Doctors and their notes. . . What do they know? You know I haven't been to the doctor in years. lol Since I was like. . . . . seven. lol

Um. . . No, not really. I get the feeling that the rest of my life is going to be even less exciting than it has been. . . . That's a really scary thought.
You might have that feeling because you didn't finish school last year. lol

Fenton McKnight said...

lol...I haven't been to a doctor or dentist in over a year...which is rather amazing. It's probably because of our insurance though...

lol...I just get the feeling that everything for teh rest of my life is depending on what I do in these next two years.

Varda said...

Oh, I go to the dentist regularly. The dentist and the eye doctor, just not a regular doctor.

. . . Hmmm. That would definitely make things difficult.

Fenton McKnight said...

I hate dentists...(Not necessisarily the people themselves, just the institution...) (There are some dentists that I don't really like either...)...
I've only been to the Eye doctor once...for my mom.lol

Yeah...it does. And then the world's going to end.lol...j/k We'll never know exactly when taht will be.

Varda said...

lol What's wrong with dentists? I myself, am rather glad for their practice. I would like to keep my own teeth till I die, and I feel that by going to the dentist and making sure I have no cavities is a rather simple solution.
Yes, well, my eyes benig so bad and constantly getting worse, I fear I am required to go about it at least once a year.

Well, the world's ending is not something to dread. Rather something to look forward to.

Fenton McKnight said...

lol...I don't mind keeping away cavities...it's just what they replace it with....ugh. That and the amounts of money they charge...

Once a year isn't bad...

lol...who said I was dreading it?

Varda said...

They replace it with ugh? Would ugh be meaning metal? lol Yes. We have wonderful insurance, so we use it. Costs are insane though if one doesn't have good insurance.

True. And I usually look forward to it now. I need some new glasses. I can't see so well out of these anymore.

Oh, perhaps I read too much into that. Anyway, the end of this world is only the beginning of the next. :D
"And then the world's going to end.lol...j/k We'll never know exactly when taht will be."
Well, we do know that it's going to be in over 1007 years. :D

Fenton McKnight said...

Ah, yes, metal. Or rather, Mercury based almalgum (SP?), but I digress...
Ah, that would be rather annoying...

And how do we know that it will be "in over 1007 years"? First off, I should think time had very little to do with it, but as far as we're concerned, I don't see how 1007 years is any closer to the truth then, say next week. All that has to happen is America must turn against Israel, and we're set, as everything else is in line.

Varda said...

The end of the world doesn't come till after the Rapture, Tribulation, and Millenial Kingdom. The Tribulation is seven years. The Millenial Kingdom is, of course, 1000 years. Thus, 1007. The world doesn't perish in a fervent heat till all that is over.
However, Christ can return at any time. That's just not the end of the world. :)

Fenton McKnight said...

Ah...sorry, didn't quite get what you meant. Yeah. You're right. However, to us, it'll be the end of the world....at least as we know it.

Varda said...

lol Okay. I suppose. . . Sort of. lol I'm in such a good mood right now. :D I love being happy.

Fenton McKnight said...

loL! What happened?! This is a total turn around from like, a day ago.

Varda said...

I know. :D Lots of things have happened though. :D Hehe. :D I got a wonderful email from my cousin about some guy who likes her. I totally flipped. :D I was so happy for her.

Fenton McKnight said...

loL! nice. So, in other words, nothing amazing happened to you personally.;) That is really cool though (depending on the guy, of course, but it sounds good).

Varda said...

lol No, not to me personally, but she's my best friend! It's close enough. lol :D

Fenton McKnight said...

lol....Yeah, true enough. It's great when good things happen to friends.
