Who's turn is it?

It's been minutes....maybe hours...(well, probably minutes), and no one has made their move. One would think they would remember. My goodness. We've all been waiting so long, how could you not remember who's turn it was!
Could he possibly have left and therefore ruined the movement of everyone? I doubt it....then the next person would know it was his turn, and so on....I mean, isn't that why we're here to begin with?!
I'm so confused. It couldn't posisbly be my turn, could it? I mean...I'd have remebered. Of course I would've. I've been so careful. Perhaps it's that man over there. He looks rather like the careless type. "Oh, sir...?" Ugh....he doesn't even look my way. How absolutely rude he is. And the way he stares so...and his jacket is rather stained and dirty...hmmm...must not take care of himself. But...why is no-one stepping forward?!
Obviously it's someone's turn, it always is. If it wasn't, I'm sure He wouldn't let us stand here.....or would He? My those are rather odd looking rose-bushes...they have a nice fragrence though. I wish the sun wasn't so bright...it's making it hard to see. I can just barely make out the doors.Where do they lead I wonder...but most of all, Who's turn is it?!

It was you? Oh, good, I thought it was somebody else that I don't know...like him.*stares pointedly at the egomaniacal man in Post* But really, You should try to stand up right away when it's your turn next time...I get all anxious when I don't know who's turn it is....;)

I know, I know. I apologize. I was distracted by said man though, and it completely slipped my mind. And then there was that other character over there. Just who is that?

Ah, that's the president of the Armenian Coalition for Wombat Rights. At least, I think that's who it is....but maybe I'm mistaken....it could be his turn next...hmmm....maybe..

Varda said...

No, no, not him. The other one. The handsome one, with the far-off look in his eyes. . . . What's he doing here? He's not even playing. Maybe he has some business with one of the dignitaries. . . .
Actually, isn't it your turn now?

Fenton McKnight said...

Ah, it might be. As for the handsome dude over there with the far off Dreamy look, that Julius, and I think he's part of the Management.....

Varda said...

lol! His name really had better not be Julius. . . . . Really, that would just be sad. I'd never call him that. lol

Fenton McKnight said...

lol...Call him whatever you like. He doesn't seem to be paying attention anyway...with his far off look....lol.

lol Oh hush. I can dream, can't I? I was going to quote TPB, "with eyes like the sea after a storm". So be happy for what you don't read. . . cause I can go on and on and on. lol

Fenton McKnight said...

lol! I'm sure you could. Anyway...hadn't we both better go....I think it must be past both our turns...

Varda said...

Go where? Where are we going? Is the game over? What's going on?

Fenton McKnight said...

Re-read the post again. We're waiting to go through doors.

Varda said...

We're waiting to go through doors??? Why? What doors? I think we're in different places. I was picturing a croquet game. lol

Fenton McKnight said...

lol! Did you read the post through throroughly?

Croquet is fun...

Varda said...

Yes, I did. There is no mention of going through doors. Only one sentence at all is about them and that is simply to wonder where they lead, which could easily be about the doors in the neighbors house, while we are outside playing croquet.

Fenton McKnight said...

Ah...well, that's not how I meant it, but ok.

Varda said...

Yes, I know that. But you were so vague that I decided to put croquet in there. Actually, I had pictured an after-church function at my pastor's house, with you there for some reason. lol

Fenton McKnight said...

Ah I see....now that is odd. Well, not really....but....anyway.....yeah.

Varda said...

lol I'm afraid you didn't win the game. How many more doors must we walk through?

Fenton McKnight said...

I think just those. Now that we're through them, I really don't see why we have to walk through any more...

Varda said...

Ah, good. Shall we have some tea now?

Fenton McKnight said...

Ah, yes. Indeed we shall. Earl Grey has been my tea of choice, of late.

Varda said...

I shall have to try that then, as I've never tasted it before. I just like that Rasberry stuff Wendy's has. Mmmmmmm. :D lol

Fenton McKnight said...

lol....Brisk Iced Tea? Yeah...that's good.
I wouldn't reccomend starting with Earl Grey though....(even though that was kind of my first Tea...) Herbal teas are usually a good way to get one's feet wet...

Varda said...

You soak your feet in herbal tea? ;)
Well, whatever you recommend, you being the specialist concering such things. lol

Fenton McKnight said...

lol! Obi-quiet.

I don't know about being a specialist....but I do like to think I do my research.
