Today, I went hiking at Devil's Lake State Park (well, my family and some friends went hiking. I went with). It was a bucketload of fun. That park is one of my favorite places in WI. Plus, it makes for one heck of a good hike. The bluffs are a nice size, and the view is tremendous when you get to the top of either side. It makes one want to go to some mountains somewhere...(maybe VI or NC?) and do some backpacking. And, if you want, you can always go swimming or fishing in the Lake....which isn't my thing as much....
Anyway, to round things off, I got to watch LOTR, FOTR EE again on the way there/home (well, most of it-before the Packer game came on).
It's a great place. Here's a link:

Hey Evan. I went here because you put the hyper link in you questionairre thing from Oliver. Anyway, I've been to Devil's lake before. Like 2 years ago or somethin. It's really cool, and I agree that it's a great place. Lotsa cool hiking trails.
Hey! Great to see someone else I know on here. So far it's just been Nenia and I posting....anyway, once my forum's back up tomorrow morning, it's a fun place to visit too, in case you're interested.
Yeah, Devil's Lake is sweet. I want to film some scenes in the next movie I make there. The hiking trails are awesome. Not quite as good as Governor Dodge State Park (which, if you ever get a chance to go there, do so. It's insanely cool) but definately close. Thanks for the comment!

you seem to talk a lot about making movies. what kind of movies are these? do you just write them for fun? I'm guessing they'er along the lines of LOTR?
lol...yes, my friends and I make them for fun. Not exactly along the lines of LOTR though, (thats more of a hobby). Right now we're doing this funny little movie my friend wrote the script for, but next year we're going to do more of a spy thriller sort of thing (complete with Airsoft fight scenes!). It should be really fun. It also gives me a great opportunity to practice scoring films.;)
And then, as LOTR goes, I just am really into that.
haha! That should turn out good (the spy thriller, I mean). I always thought it would be fun to make movies. I'm taking a movie production class this quarter (we get to do claymation. hehe!)That should be interesting...Anywho, I'm not really a LOTR person, although I HAVE seen the movies, I just never really got involved to any extent past that. :)
Booh-BAH! sorry, boredom attack. Have you ever seen that show? It's like Teletubbies, but creepier (if that's possible!)Little hairy creatures, dancing around and farting...**shivers**

This blog has been written to say that Miss_P_G is back on Sullekha. I missed all my pals and felt as if something dear to me is taken away from me in this absence of net connection at my PC.
So this is blogging... cool! I have a rosegarden tutorial related site, but sites aren't dynamic, are they? Guess I need to start a blog too - looks like a lot of fun! Anyway - if you feel like checking out my static rose gardening contributios, feel free to check out my site anytime :-)
What are all these freaking adds for? If ou're going to post something, make sure it pertains to the post. PLEASE.
